Earlier this week, Beats Music has launched its streaming service in the United States on Android and iOS devices, as well as on the web, and announced that owners of Windows Phone handsets would also get a taste of it, on Friday.

However, that day came and gone, and the service is still not available for the owners of devices running under Microsoft’s mobile operating system.

Moreover, as WMPoweruser notes, Beats Music changed the Windows Phone mention on its website to say that the application will be released on the platform soon, without delivering a specific launch date for it.

Unfortunately, no explanation for the delay has been provided, though chances are that the music streaming app / service will indeed be released on Windows Phone in the not too distant future. Hopefully, more info on this will be provided soon.
