Lately, we've been hearing about The Beatles every few days. One could be in a 60s mood just because every morning he can read in the news about The Beatles' next project. It seems like the two remaining band members and the crew behind them just won't give up being in the highlight of events.
This time, The Beatles announced their participation at the theater collaboration with Cirque du Soleil. The show is called "Love" and will take place in Las Vegas, at the Mirage hotel - casino on the 30th of June, with an international cast of 60 members.
Being a producer for The Beatles looks like a family business. Sir George Martin, the original producer, and his son, Giles Martin, have already started to prepare the archive of Beatles songs they will provide for the Vegas show. There are almost 200 songs that shall be used to assemble the musical themes during the performance of all dancers, tumblers and acrobats of the Circus of Sun. No one knows yet which songs are actually chosen for the show, in fact there will be both whole songs and fragments to accompany the fairy - like performance of the artists and no song list shall be made public.

The show can indeed be taken to be a 100% 3rd millennium performance. All arts are combined so as to form a complete and complex show, with classical circus performance, lighting effects, dancing, The Beatles' music and audience participation. The sound installation is in itself a form of art - Beatles montages will play through more than 6,000 sources of sound, including three speakers on every seat, as the creative director of the show declared.
All in all, the show title - "Love" perfectly fits the show's syncretism. As equivocal as the feeling is, will be the combining-of-all-arts Cirque du Soleil spectacle in Las Vegas.
