A mysterious animal has landed on a beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales, leaving locals and scientists baffled.

The Sun writes that the animal, dubbed the “Beast of Tenby,” is quite large, about one-meter (3.3-feet) long and has five toes.

After the Western Telegraph posted this photo on their Facebook page, it quickly went viral, with users trying to guess what kind of animal this is. So far, it has been dubbed a badger, a sea lion, a bear, a wild boar, which seems more accurate, and even a hippo.

“It was a disgusting-looking thing. My first impression was that it had the face of a horse, the claws of a bear and the body of a pig,” describes dog walker Peter Bailey, who found the beast.
