14 DAY TRIAL // This might come as a bit of a shock to some people, but the stunning silhouette in blue in the photos below is not really Disney's very own Queen Elsa of Arendelle.
Yes, it's hard to believe that the pictures don't really show Elsa riding the tube, what with the sparkly dress hinting at a flawless hourglass-like figure and the golden hair mirrored in the subway's windows.
Still, take our word for it, it's not Arendelle's ruler. What you're actually looking at is a middle-aged bearded man dressed like Queen Elsa. Now admit it: the resemblance is outstanding, isn't it?
What was this guy doing dressed like Elsa?
The man, identified as tattoo artist Rob Chillingworth from Waltham Abbey in Essex, UK, dressed like Disney's Queen Elsa to take his daughter Ruby to a “Frozen”-themed sing-along.
The man put on a sparkly blue dress, a blond wig and even a cape. Apparently, he didn't simply buy his costume. Instead, he had it especially made for the “Frozen” sing-along that his daughter wanted him to accompany her to.
“The kids had to dress up. I thought I had to as well. Ruby said, ‘You be Elsa.’ I had to get the dress made as I'm a big geezer and you can't get them in my size,” the man explained, as cited by DM.
In case anyone was wondering, Rob Chillingworth's daughter is the lovely young lady dressed like Olaf the snowman and pictured riding the tube together with the tattoo artist.
The “Frozen” fever is far from over
“Frozen” rained buckets of money on the Walt Disney Animation Studios so, naturally, a sequel is now in the works. For the time being, this sequel is tentatively titled “Frozen 2.”
There is no news about a release date, be it an official statement or at least a couple of fairly reliable rumors. Still, we can expect that the Walt Disney Animation Studios will seek to debut “Frozen 2” sometime in winter, be it this year or in 2016.
