Mozilla yesterday unveiled the new Firefox 30, which comes with the same controversial Australis interface just like its predecessor, so the company can now focus on the work for the next build of its browser

As a result, Mozilla today presented the first beta build of Firefox 31, which is basically your first occasion to try out the upcoming version no matter what OS you're running right now.

Not much has been said about the features that are part of Firefox 31 Beta 1, but the release is mostly focused on fixing bugs and issues found in the latest alpha release, so expect a somewhat stable and reliable experience after deploying this version.

As said, Firefox 31 Beta 1 is available on all supported platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, but keep in mind that this is quite the very first beta of this browser version, so a number of bugs and other performance issues might still exist in the app, thus affecting browsing performance after installation.

Overall, however, this is quite a neat way to experience the new version of Firefox, so use the download links below to get the build that's appropriate for your OS version.
