In the line 'you're not a celebrity, a real one, unless you have a book out there, preferably a children's novel or an autobiography', word has it that Britney Spears too wants to join the ranks of star authors. Of course, this is just a rumor and it hasn't yet been confirmed (or denied, for that matter) but, judging from the crazy happenings in Britney's recent life, chances are soon, very soon (sooner than we'd think), we'll all be holding a book written by her and about her in our hands.
For those who are not in the know, the situation between Britney and her family is only getting worse by the day. This time, this is not just a simple rumor: only a couple of days ago, her father went to the media and publicly humiliated his daughter in a statement in which he said that she is the only one responsible for all the things that went wrong in her life in the past two years. In other words, he said that they (the family) and her manager tried their best to save her life and to convince her to enter rehab and she should be grateful for their intervention.
Even if that's true, maybe it was not the best way to show his daughter that he only had her best interest at heart. Britney responded to this within a few hours: 'I am praying for my father. We never had a good relationship' which is, according to her friends, her way of saying a certain person is as good as dead for her. Apparently, each time someone says something bad about her, Britney's way of retaliating is 'I am praying for X'.
But Britney is doing more than just a little praying, if we are to believe the recent reports. Friends close to her have spoken to the tabloids (yes, you can imagine how 'close' they really are to Britney!) about the pop star's future projects and spilled the beans on an upcoming tell-all book which, they say, is being currently paraded around, in the hope of getting $10 million for it.
In the book, Britney will talk about every man in her life, each person that ever influenced her decisions in a negative way and, basically, throw the blame on everyone she ever met. It is yet unsure whether she will use a ghostwriter or if she'll actually take pen in hand for this one. According to insiders, these are the main 'topics' that Brit Brit will dwell on in her autobiography:
- Justin Timberlake (note: isn't about time she went over it?):
'Brit blames most of her problems with drugs and alcohol on the heartache she experienced years before, during her time with Justin; she couldn't trust him... She also felt he became mean towards the end of their relationship; she said he called her fat and told her she'd need to lose weight before he would have sex with her.' Ouch!
- Lynn Spears (the pushing mother):
'Britney will call her a "stage mum from hell" and blame her for almost every ill in her life. She'll say Lynne's money hungry and that she was just along for the free ride... Britney thinks of her as a meddling, smothering person and blames her for her messy marriages.'- Kevin Federline (aka K-Fed, aka the world's favorite 'rapper'):
'...Brit will say he deliberately tried to drive her crazy. She feels Kevin just pretended to love her for the money and a music career. When that sunk in, she was so heartbroken that she wanted to kill herself.'If this is true, I smell drama! And the chance to star in her own soap-opera or reality show. Stay tuned here for more.
