14 DAY TRIAL // Bayonetta 2 is the Wii U game of the moment, as Platinum’s game has been given high ratings from critics. Exclusively launched on Nintendo’s Wii U console, Bayonetta 2 has been praised by both media and players.
Although for many players Metacritic score does not mean anything (and it shouldn’t), it’s worth mentioning that Bayonetta 2 has a 91 critics metascore and a 9.1 users score and it’s only second to Super Smash Bros. in the overall top.
Platinum probably congratulates itself for having decided to bring Bayonetta 2 exclusively on the Wii U, as the game has become very popular among Nintendo fans.
But now that their work is done, producer Akiko Kuroda and director Yusuke Hashimoto have already revealed that there are now focusing on bringing gamers yet another masterpiece.
Platinum also plans to release something related to Bayonetta series in 2015
We’re not sure if they’re talking about Bayonetta 3, if such a game will ever exist, but for their statements it looks like Platinum will bring something related to the Bayonetta series in 2015 as well.
Siliconera reports Bayonetta 2 producer Akiko Kuroda said in an interview for 4Gamer that they “have already begun working on the next project, but it seems like it’ll be a little while longer until we can make an announcement. I hope that we can do something related to the Bayonetta series in 2015 as well, so please keep an eye out for more from Bayonetta!”
The information was later confirmed by Bayonetta 2 Director Yusuke Hashimoto who also said that his studio would do everything in their power to create something that would make us say “I want to play it!”
As per their statements, it may take a while until the name of Platinum project is revealed, but at least we know the company is going to release Scalebound on Xbox One and some Bayonetta-related content, next year.
