Battlestar Galactica Online Gets Tournament and XP Boost for Thanksgiving

Bigpoint has announced that it will be launching a number of special events in its MMO Battlestar Galactica Online that are linked to the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.

The weekend celebration will start with a Booster Event that will allow players to get Double XP for two days starting on November 24.

It will continue with a Nemesis Tournament, which will pit players against players and will offer rewards to those who place in the top 20 on each server, starting on November 26 and taking place over two whole days.

Battlestar Galactica is a free-to-play MMO that can be played using only a browser and allows players to choose between allegiance to the Colonials or the Cylons as they take part in giant space battles.

Sarah Levantine, who is a producer at Bigpoint, stated, “To celebrate the beginning of the holiday season, we’re presenting an exciting tournament competition for fans of BSGO to compete on a new level,” said. “If we see that the community response is positive, we’re likely to add more of these events on special occasions.”
