14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most hotly anticipated releases of 2012 is “Battleship,” a film based on Hasbro's game that no one thought likely to be turned into a movie. A new trailer for it ran last night, during the Super Bowl game.
While previously released footage for the movie hinted that aliens are coming from outer space to take over our planet, the new trailer shows that the aliens aren't exactly... aliens.
Not as one would imagine them to be, at least.
Check out the new clip above, and you will get a closer look at a footsoldier in the vast army attacking Earth.
It looks like a robot but, at the same time, we know it comes from space, so it wouldn't be that far-fetched to say, at this point, that “Battleship” looks like “Transformers” at sea.
The film is out on May 18, 2012, so we'll know then if this is just an impression or not.
