DICE, the developer of the Battlefield series and the maintainer of the Battlelog online service has confirmed that it's going to take the network down for maintenance tomorrow, May 14.

The dev will implement an update that should make navigation quicker and set the stage for many new features.

Battlelog was released initially alongside Battlefield 3 and got support for Medal of Honor: Warfighter last year.

Now, after teasing the Battlelog 2 revamp for Battlefield 4, DICE has confirmed that it's going to implement an update for the current version of the online service tomorrow, May 14.

Sadly, the studio needs to take the service offline in order to patch it up, so between 10 and 11am CET on May 14 Battlelog will be unavailable.

The update fixes certain bugs and adds redesigned elements to make navigation quicker.

The patch also does work "under the hood" in order to support future Battlelog features, according to the BF3 blog.
