Hardline benefits from the latest beta stage

Battlefield Hardline developer Visceral Games emphasizes that it's busy making several major improvements to the first-person shooter after the recently closed beta stage, even if just a few weeks separate fans from the release of the final game.

Battlefield fans were surprised to see last summer that the next iteration in the series is called Hardline, and instead of coming from series founder DICE, it's made by Visceral Games and focuses on cops vs. criminals, instead of large army warfare.

The game saw a short beta stage take place last summer, and after collecting all the feedback, Visceral and EA decided to push back the release of the new shooter, from October, 2014 to March, 2015, so that they can implement all the suggestions from fans.

The last week saw the second beta stage take place, even if just a few weeks separate fans from the release of the final version of Battlefield Hardline across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Visceral is acting on all the feedback as we speak

This, however, doesn't mean that Visceral won't implement the latest suggestions from fans concerning the first-person shooter, its mechanics, or its modes.

Quite the opposite, actually, as Visceral boss Steve Papoutsis confirms on the official website that his team has gathered a huge amount of feedback from the 6+ million players who entered the beta in the last week across all the different platforms. Now, it's acting on those suggestions as fast as possible.

"Now, I know what you’re asking yourself. We’re just five weeks away from the launch of Battlefield Hardline, how could we possibly be acting on that feedback? Well, I can assure you we are. In fact, we’ve already been prioritizing changes for things fans are talking about. So you’ve still got a chance to be heard. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the community one more time. We love the two way dialogue we’ve established," he explains.

He also pledges that the final version of Hardline will offer way more content than the beta, as it includes seven multiplayer modes, the single-player story campaign, and nine diverse maps, which should entertain them for a very long time.

Battlefield Hardline launches on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on March 17, in North America, and March 19, in Europe.
