After the end of the Battlefield Hardline beta stage, developer Visceral Games has started making lots of improvements to the game and it's just confirmed that a crucial one that alters the interrogation system has just been added.

Battlefield Hardline is set to debut this October, but last month developer Visceral and publisher EA decided to treat fans to a surprise beta stage on the PC and PS4 platforms.

During this test, players were invited to see just how Hardline differentiates itself from the past Battlefield experiences and how it will put a new spin on the war on crime in big urban environments.

Since the end of the beta, Visceral has pledged to listen to all the feedback from fans and has even confirmed a series of improvements that have already been made to the game.

Now, it's detailed some more changes that are already live inside Battlefield Hardline on the official blog.

First up, it seems that the interrogation system has been altered to offer different information about the enemy team that's useful but not game-breaking.

"We’ve worked out some changes to the T62 CEW and the Interrogation mechanic. We’re working on making Interrogation only show enemies in a radius around the captured enemy, but show the marked enemies as if they had been Active Spotted by a teammate – making it both more useful and less powerful at the same time," the studio says.

Tweaks have also been implemented to make the rounds last longer but without sacrificing the fun factor. Certain vehicles, like the utility van, have seen their toughness increase, meaning it will take a lot more bullets to cause them to explode.

"There were a lot of comments about cars dying too easily from gunfire. We agree that one magazine from the AKM should probably not turn your sedan into a 4-person death trap quite so easily. We’ve also increased the survivability of the utility van."

Audio cues have been overhauled to provide better feedback to players and to make sure that they're aware of what's happening around them.

Medkits and ammo boxes should also no longer block the revive system from kicking in, meaning you will be able to get your teammates back to life even if your vision is obstructed by the aforementioned objects.

You can bet that more changes will be made to Battlefield Hardline as we get closer to its launch this October for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms.
