Visceral Games has just revealed a list of major improvements that will be made to its upcoming Battlefield Hardline first-person shooter, after receiving feedback from those who participated in the beta stage on PC and PS4.

Electronic Arts surprised quite a lot of people at E3 2014 last month when it confirmed that it was already rolling out a temporary beta stage for Battlefield Hardline on the PC and PS4 platforms, which allowed all fans to try out the new shooter experience.

As you can imagine, many flocked to the test phase and quite a lot of feedback was generated by the community in regards to some of the new things that were added by Visceral to the core Battlefield recipe.

Now, in order to show that it's taking this feedback to heart, the studio has posted on the Battlefield blog a list of tweaks that will be made to the game ahead of its release.

First up, in terms of movement, Visceral reveals that it's increased the overall speed by around 10 percent and that players will move even faster when holding a pistol, instead of their main weapon.

The suppression system has also been tweaked, as the camera will no longer bounce around when a player is being suppressed. Instead, your situational awareness will be affected, according to the studio, but it's unclear in what ways.

The Survivalist gadget has also been modified, according to the developer, as it had been deemed overpowered by the community. Now, it will revive players at 1 health and will auto-inject after five seconds.

The High Tension scenario has seen some tweaks in particular, with the crane camera shake being toned down, while the stairs aren't going to pull players into the wall.

The objective display system will show if it's above or below you, in order to avoid running around aimlessly.

More special vehicles, like the fuel truck, will be added to all maps. Vehicles that get stuck will be susceptible to melee attacks from players on foot, so that they can get unstuck. The back of armored vehicles will see some new weak spots added, so that it's much easier to take them down.

Last but not least, in the vehicle occupant list, a special icon will be displayed if one of the players is carrying a bag.

"This dialogue doesn’t end with the beta. We plan on continuing this from now until launch – and beyond. So come back to the site to check in and see the latest Community Most Wanted lists and to voice your opinion. We will be revealing a ton of new multiplayer details including new maps, new modes, gadgets and our single player campaign – we want to hear your feedback," the studio added.

Expect to hear much more about Battlefield Hardline in the following months, as we get closer to its release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One this October.
