Battlefield Hardline offers a comprehensive multiplayer experience, but thanks to the many all-new modes, even veterans of the franchise are experiencing problems when it comes to mastering the new gear, the new game types, or the new mechanics. Fortunately for you, we have some tips and tricks about the various modes in Hardline.

Battlefield Hardline launched this week all around the world, and as we speak, millions of franchise fans, or at least those that weren't disappointed with Battlefield 4 back in 2013, are currently experiencing this pretty innovative title in the long-running first-person shooter series.

Hardline is a Battlefield game, which means modes like Conquest or Team Deathmatch are still a part of its multiplayer experience, but it brings many new game types that take advantage of its cops vs. criminals focus.

Classic modes feel pretty good

First up, let's talk about the classic experiences. Conquest is still impressive in Hardline and the maps are pretty big even for the massive 64-player battles to unfold. Unfortunately, at least right now, the ticket bleed rate is a bit steep so even such massive fights will be over in around 10 minutes, if the teams know what they're doing.

Team Deathmatch is more or less ideal for newcomers that don't want to worry about vehicles, as you just spawn in various points on the map and try to kill enemies. Unfortunately, the spawn mechanic isn't the greatest and already many people are learning the most common spots and camping them as soon as possible. However, with a bit of luck, you can soon at least survive in this mode.

The new game types can be quite fun

The 5v5 Crosshair and Rescue modes are best attempted by groups of friends, as you need cooperation to ensure that you deal with the hostage or the VIP no matter the faction you get, either cops or criminals. Use voice or text chat whenever possible and ensure that you tag enemies whenever possible.

One of my favorites in Hardline is Hotwire, the mode that's similar to Domination only instead of capture areas, you drive specially-marked vehicles at high speeds to dwindle the supply of tickets of the enemy team. Make sure you stop to pick up allies so that they can defend the vehicle or repair it on the fly. Try to synchronize with others in order to reach a target vehicle at the same time, and try to target enemies in the marked vehicles whenever possible. Using a helicopter well can often ensure an easy victory in Hotwire.

Blood Money and Heist are relatively similar, and once again, cooperation is key. You won't win by assaulting the vaults alone, and you can't ensure you get the money without covering your friends. Try to communicate and at least have some awareness of your surroundings.

As always, try to have fun no matter the mode in Battlefield Hardline, and if you're feeling burnt out, try another mode or complete a story episode to spice things up.
