Criminal Activity is the first major downloadable content pack that will be offered to fans of Battlefield Hardline, and the team is ready to unveil more details about the new weapons and cars that the first-person shooter will now include.

Because the theme of the coming DLC is intense close-quarters combat, the company is introducing a powerful new pump-action bullpup shotgun.

The official announcement states, "This futuristic shotgun is using cutting edge technology to dispense justice to the criminals. It can hold 14 rounds of 2 ¾” 12 gauge buckshot. Clearing criminals out in Black Friday or on The Beat makes this shotgun is right at home."

Battlefield Hardline is also getting a new battle rifle option for the Enforcers on the criminal side, which combines both stopping power and range, and gamers have options when it comes to customization and the ammo it will use.

The gamers who want to stand on the side of the law get an assault rifle with similar features.

Criminal Activity also introduces AP tracer rounds, which can deliver more damage to armored enemies while also tagging them for the rest of the team.

A breaching option for shotguns will give the community more options to open doors that have been sabotaged.

The Criminal Activity maps for Battlefield Hardline now also feature the nail gun, which is powerful in close quarters and allows gamers to move around without being detected.

Visceral Games is also adding more vehicles to the shooter

The Lowrider will be delivered to the criminals and allows a group of four players to move around with both style and plenty of attack options.

The car features leather interior, a custom musical horn, and hydraulic suspensions.

A pick-up truck is also coming to Criminal Activity, carrying more passengers on those maps where groups need to move to new locations quickly.

Battlefield Hardline is also delivering a free new submachine gun to all gamers for free, regardless of their faction choice, with a slow rate of fire and solid targeting.

The development team explains that limited customization options will be offered for it.

The Criminal Activity pack for Battlefield Hardline will be launched initially for those who subscribe to the Premium service for the shooter.
