Many fans wondered how Battlefield Hardline would fare after being delayed from its autumn 2014 launch date, and it seems that the shift to spring has been fruitful for the shooter, which is spending yet another week at the top of the United Kingdom video game chart.

The title from Visceral Games and Electronic Arts has once again managed to sell enough copies to stay ahead of all its rivals, although the two companies have not yet offered a clear look at the figures.

Visceral Games is planning to soon announce the launch date for the Criminal Activity downloadable content for Hardline, which will probably give it another solid boost in terms of sales.

Despite the fact that plenty of new titles are available on the market, FIFA 15 is once again creeping towards the top of the chart and has leaped from fourth to second.

The football sim has not received a full update in some time, but EA Sports is continuing to deliver Ultimate Team content in order to keep gamers occupied.

Grand Theft Auto V has dropped one place in order to reach the final position of the podium for the week ending on April 11, according to sales data gathered by the UKIE, and will probably soon get a solid boost from the launch of the PC version.

The best of the rest

Far Cry 4 is enjoying its own revival and has managed to gain another position in order to land in fourth place for the week.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, another game first launched in 2014, is moving in the same direction and moved up to fifth.

Bloodborne is newer than both titles above, but it has dropped from third to sixth, with its main disadvantage being that it is only offered on the PlayStation 4 home console.

Forza Horizon 2 has profited from the launch of the Fast & Furious content, which was free, to get back into the top ten and drive to seventh.

Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection is now in eighth place, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection also made a comeback to arrive in ninth.

The United Kingdom video game chart is closed down by the Xbox Edition of indie hit Minecraft.
