The development team at Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts have now officially revealed all the maps and modes that will be part of the upcoming Battlefield: Hardline, which means that gamers who plan to pick up the experience can start making a decision about its multiplayer component.

The information is now part of the official site and gamers can easily use it to take a look at the battle environments that they will have to familiarize with and the rules of engagement they will have to follow in order to achieve victory.

The modes for Battlefield: Hardline are: Conquest, Team Deathmatch, Heist, Blood Money, Hotwire, Rescue, and Crosshair.

Some of them are classics that have been with the series since it was first introduced and others are designed to add innovative elements that suit the special cops versus criminals theme of the title.

The most interesting of the bunch is Crosshair, which is described as fallows: "This is the second competitive mode. In Crosshair, a former criminal turned state’s witness is on the run from his former crew. The criminals are trying to erase the VIP’s face from the world, while the cops are trying to get him out safely. Once again, there are no second chances - one death and you are out for the match."

When it comes to maps, gamers will be able to take each other out on: Downtown, Bank Job, The Block, Dust Bowl, Growhouse, Hollywood Heights, Derailed, Riptide, and Everglades.

Battlefield: Hardline still does not have an official beta date

Both Visceral Games and Electronic Arts have insisted that they are eager to once again know how the fan base feels about the core mechanics of Battlefield: Hardline and that a beta will be offered on all platforms.

Unfortunately, even as the maps and modes are confirmed, no official date was offered yet, which raises fears that the beta will only serve as a marketing tool and will not lead to any changes in the core features of the game.

At the moment, the launch date for Battlefield: Hardline is set for March 17 in North America and March 19 in Europe, with the game set to be offered on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the PC and last-gen consoles.
