The development team at Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts have already announced that their upcoming Battlefield Hardline is gold, and now the two companies are revealing that all those who are members of the EA Access service will be able to play the shooter for a ten-hour period starting on March 12.

The official announcement explains that both single and multiplayer will be included and that gamers can play all the maps and modes that will be offered when the full experience arrives on March 17 in the United States and March 19 in Europe.

The two companies add that "You'll also get first crack on the gritty story, experiencing the prologue and first chapter of the thrilling crime drama in Battlefield Hardline crafted by the Visceral team. This is the real deal. Not a demo. All your progress in single player and multiplayer will carry over when Battlefield Hardline is released."

Gamers who are members of the EA Access service on the Xbox One can also spend 10 percent less if they choose to buy Battlefield Hardline.

Recently, Electronic Arts also announced that NBA Live 15 was added to the Vault section of the service and that it would be bringing other titles to it in the coming months.

The EA Access concept has been an intriguing one and it will be interesting to see whether the dedicated fans of the Battlefield franchise will sign up for it in order to get five days during which they can play 10 hours of the new shooter.

Battlefield Hardline needs all the pre-launch hype

The game seems to be in solid form at the moment, but fans should not forget the fact that it was delayed in 2014 after a beta period in which the community complained about the quality of the experience and the limited variety it offered.

The new open testing period generated more positive feedback from the player base and Visceral Games has said that it is satisfied with the experiences offered and plans only a small number of changes before launch.

Recently, the company also teased a Premium service for Battlefield Hardline, but so far it has not delivered clear information on what kind of content will be associated with it.
