Battlefield: Bad Company TV Show Now in Development at Fox, Report Says

U.S. TV network Fox is going to start developing a special TV show based on Electronic Arts’ Battlefield: Bad Company series, following the adventures of the four main protagonists from the game.

Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and its sequel delivered some great shooter experiences sprinkled with a plot that knew how to make players laugh in between firefights.

Now, it seems that Fox wants to transform the game into a TV show and, according to Deadline, has signed writer John Eisendrath, who previously worked on Alias, to adapt it into an action comedy.

The show focuses on the four protagonists from the game and follows them as they exit the military and enter the private sector.

They soon realize, however, that their commanding officer used them in order to “further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks.”

As of yet, this hasn’t been confirmed by Fox or EA, so expect more details soon enough. Until then, who do you think should play the four heroes, Marlowe, Sweetwater, Haggard, and Redford?
