Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIP Map Pack 4 is now available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as a free download for those who bought the game new. Second hand owners of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 copies will have to pay 15 dollars for a VIP code before receiving the free content that has been released until now by DICE, the title's developer. It is also coming via a patch to all PC players, regardless of ownership status.
This fourth piece of downloadable content carries on the tradition of taking existing multiplayer maps and converting them to be playable in other game modes than the ones initially possible. This time around, Atacama Desert will finally be available in Rush Mode, while Port Valdez will be coming to the Conquest Mode.
So far, no new environments have been added by DICE to the title's multiplayer component, but this will change in winter with the release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. This expansion will add four new jungle-themed maps, vehicle and weapons set during the Vietnam War. Furthermore, Bad Company 2 fans can expect new unlocks and awards to become available with the expansion, adding another layer of depth to this first person shooter.
DICE is hard at work right now on the multiplayer mode of Medal of Honor, Electronic Arts' latest modern warfare shooter. While the online part of the game is built with the same engine that powers Bad Company 2, the scope of the gameplay will be smaller and tighter, according to the developers, aiming for a more accessible experience than in Bad Company 2. It is also known that DICE is working on Battlefield 3. No details have surfaced about this title yet, other than the fact that the game will be a sequel to Battlefield 2 in terms of story and setting, a modern day war involving China, the Middle East and NATO.
I would love to know where you got the info on dice working on BF3, because it has been a so called rumor since 2007. EA's BFBC2 Blog it states nothing about Dice working on BF3. So could you please show some type of proof on this... thnx

Hey,
Well I think the best proof that this thing exists is this six-month old interview:
