EA has denied that Battlefield 4 will have special customization mechanics, after a leaked poster claimed that the game would allow for the tweaking of facial features and even the switching of genders.

Battlefield 4 is eagerly awaited by millions of shooter fans from around the world and, after showing off the game's single-player campaign earlier this year, Electronic Arts has confirmed that it's going to debut the multiplayer mode at E3 2013 in June.

Now, a leaked poster has appeared on the EvilAvatar forums, offering new info about the oft-rumored Commander mode, but also detailed the fact that the shooter has a suite of facial customization options and even allows players to choose the gender of their multiplayer character.

Electronic Arts has issued a statement to VG247 after the rumor surfaced, confirming that the Battlefield 4 info in the poster isn't accurate.

No other details were given, so Battlefield 4 fans will have to wait until E3 2013 to learn about the game's multiplayer.
