A few new details about just how Battlefield 4 will use the DualShock 4 controller of the PlayStation 4 have surfaced online, as it will employ the gyroscopic Sixaxis function to lean, or the touchpad for the Battlelog user interface.

Battlefield 4 is one of the big games that will appear for the PlayStation this November alongside many other platforms.

The shooter, however, will make full use of the new functions that are baked into the DualShock 4 controller.

According to a roundup on NeoGAF, the Sixaxis gyroscopes will be used to lean in the game, while the touchpad is going to be employed by the interface of the Battlelog social service.

While the triggers (L2 and R2) are going to be used to shoot as default, players can use alternate control schemes.

More demonstrations and details should appear soon enough.
