Two new patches have just been rolled out for Battlefield 4 servers worldwide in quick succession, in the form of updates R21 and R22, bringing quite a few different modifications.

Battlefield 4 has received various updates ever since its release, as developer DICE has tried really hard to improve the stability of the game and eliminate the many different bugs encountered by players worldwide.

Battlefield 4's server updates usually affect all platforms, namely PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, and developer DICE has already rolled out quite a few updates in order to make sure that multiplayer matches aren't crashing or freezing.

Now, a major new patch has just gone live, in the form of R21, and shortly after it another one, R22, was released in order to solve a seemingly minor server crash that appeared after the previous version.

Quite a few different changes are featured in the new server updates, namely some new restrictions for official servers as well as solutions for display errors, including ones that made players become invisible.

Check out the changelogs below, via Battlelog.

R21 Server Update

-vars.maxPlayers cannot any longer be tweaked on Official Servers, as all game modes were designed for a set amount of players -vars.unlockMode now returns a “ReadOnlyOnRanked” message if the server is Official or Ranked -vehicle.SpawnDelay command now executes at the end of a round, or if the round is restarted, preventing some players to write scripts that shows an incorrect vehicle respawn delay value on Battlelog -Fixed an issue that would cause the skill value to be incorrectly calculated for Commanders -Fixed an issue where a player would become invisible after being killed on a ladder, and revived thereafter

R22 Server Update

-Fix for a minor server crash

The new server patches will be automatically applied on all servers within the next 24 hours.
