The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are delivering a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Naval Strike downloadable content pack for Battlefield 4, which is just a taste of a bigger video that will arrive later in the week.

The footage does not offer many more details about the new features and maps that gamers will be able to experience, but it does show off the impressive spectacle that a match can be in the first-person shooter.

DICE explains that, "Battlefield 4 Naval Strike takes the intense and dramatic water-based combat introduced in Battlefield 4 to the next level with a new amphibious vehicle and four all-new maps set in the South China Sea."

Gamers will also be able to try out a new Carrier Assault mode, which is designed to resemble the experience offered by Battlefield 2142.

A major patch will also introduce balance changes to the game.

As always, Naval Strike for Battlefield 4 will first be delivered to those gamers who are Premium members before the entire community gets access to it.

There are two other DLC packs in development for the shooter at the Los Angeles studio of DICE, not at the Stockholm one.
