The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts have delivered, as promised, a full length new trailer for the Naval Strike downloadable content pack for Battlefield 4, which focuses on the new Carrier Assault mode that gamers will be able to try out.

The experience is designed to resemble the Titan-based mode that was included in Battlefield 2142 and will allow gamers to execute a multi-tiered mission, which takes place on one of the biggest vessels ever simulated in the shooter.

The Naval Strike DLC will also deliver a set of four new maps for multiplayer, all of them built around locations where water plays an important role in the matches, especially when the new Levolution features are activated.

Gamers who are paying for the Premium subscription service for Battlefield 4 will get access to all the new content on March 25 and the rest of the community will receive it on April 8.

Alongside Naval Strike, DICE is expected to also deliver a major patch for the shooter.

Another two DLC packs will be offered for Battlefield 4, both of which are being created by the Los Angeles studio of the company rather than the core Stockholm one.
