DICE is not offering any reasons for the frequent restarts

The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are announcing that the official servers for Battlefield 4 on all platforms will be restarted at 9 AM Greenwich Mean Time, which is 2 AM Pacific Daylight Time and 11 Central European Time.

The official Twitter message from the franchise says that the multiplayer experience might be affected for a little while, although the community should soon be able to get back into their favorite modes.

The pace of server restarts for Battlefield 4 seems to be quickening, and the community seems to be a little worried about the fact that DICE is not offering any information about the reasons behind them.

The company has promised that it will deliver a major update for the first-person shooter at some point in September, which will tweak the balance of some core mechanics and will make weapons behave better.

At the same time, DICE is working on the final downloadable content pack for Battlefield 4, which is set to arrive before the end of the year and will include new maps and a new mode.

Battlefield Hardline has been delayed into 2015 in order to give Visceral Games more time to polish the core experience.
