14 DAY TRIAL // The Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition, which is given to anyone who pre-orders the game before its launch in October, will include access to the beta stage of Battlefield 4, as Electronic Arts has confirmed what was already leaked over the weekend.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is coming out this October and, in order to make sure the millions of Battlefield 3 players will pay attention to the new shooter, EA has once again resorted to an old tactic and has confirmed that copies of Warfighter’s Limited Edition would have an access voucher for the Battlefield 4 beta stage.
This appeared as a report over the weekend but Electronic Arts has now confirmed on the Medal of Honor: Warfighter website, revealing that the test stage will kick off in fall of 2013.
This could hint that Battlefield 4 might be released later that fall or in the first few months of 2014. Given the fierce competition with Activision’s Call of Duty franchise, however, it’s safe to say that the next Battlefield experience will be out next year, probably in October.
