Even if a month separates Battlefield 3 players from the release of the Back to Karkand DLC, DICE and Electronic Arts have published a new trailer that presents the main additions brought forth by the add-on pack, including its new maps, weapons, vehicles or gameplay modes.

Battlefield 3 was packed with lots of content for its multiplayer mode, but DICE, its developer, made it clear at the beginning of the year that it's going to remaster four of the most popular maps from Battlefield 2 by using the new Frosbite 2 engine, and pack them together in the form of the Back to Karkand DLC.

We already saw some fresh images of the add-on at the end of October and now the developers have published a video of the add-on, showing off the four new maps, Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island, as well as the other things brought by the DLC, like new weapons, vehicles or the Conquest Assault gameplay mode.

Check out the video above and get ready for the release of Back to Karkand for Battlefield 3 in December.
