The development team at DICE says that it is working on a fix for the disconnect problems that are affecting some Battlefield 3 multiplayer matches on the PC.

The official Twitter account of the first person shooter states, "DICE are aware of the problems #BF3 PC players may be experiencing with disconnects and are looking to resolving this issue ASAP."

It's unclear at the moment what the cause of the disconnects might be or why only those playing on the PC are affected.

DICE is still talking to those affected and currently does not have an estimated time of arrival for the Battlefield 3 fix.

The studio is also currently working on Battlefield 4, which is expected to launch during the fall and current and next generation consoles and the PC with an entirely new engine and mechanics.
