Electronic Arts and DICE, the companies behind the upcoming Battlefield 3 first person shooter, have presented a special video introduction for the recently released open beta stage for the multiplayer mode that's going to be a part of the final game.

The beta kicked off last week across the game's three platforms, the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and has already impressed quite a lot of people, including ourselves, as you can tell by the quick look we posted before the weekend.

Now, for those who didn't get a chance to jump into the online beta, a special video tutorial has been launched by DICE and EA, highlighting the Operation Metro map as well as the game modes featured in the test stage or the technical accomplishments of the developers.

The Battlefield 3 open beta ends on October 10, while the full game is out on October 25, in North America, and October 28, in Europe.
