14 DAY TRIAL // While double XP weekends are standard for first-person shooters, Battlefield 3 is taking things to a new level with a special Double XP week that lasts until July 8, for those who have Premium subscriptions, and until July 4, for regular owners of the game.
Battlefield 3 was launched last year and, despite its age, it is still quite popular, a fact proven by the impressive sales reached by the Battlefield Premium bundle, which offers access to all of the game’s current and upcoming expansions, plus a variety of other perks.
Now, in order to celebrate Independence Day, EA has confirmed that a special Double XP event is underway.
Regular owners of Battlefield 3 will be able to take advantage of the Double XP bonus until July 4, while those who have the Premium bundle will be able to enjoy it until July 8.
The Double XP feature is available on all platforms, namely the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
