Battlefield 3 Gets New Video Ad Made by Freddie Wong

While Activision used famous Hollywood actors Sam Worthington and Jonah Hill for its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ads, Electronic Arts got filmmaker Freddie Wong to make a special Battlefield 3 video that highlights two of the best features: drivable vehicles and destruction.

Battlefield 3 already impressed millions of gamers from all around the world, either on the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360, and even got its first downloadable content pack earlier this mont, in the form of the Back to Karkand add-on.

Now, after some pretty interesting commercials, EA teamed up with Freddie Wong and a few of his friends to make a live action ad that presents their antics in Battlefield 3’s multiplayer mode, while promoting the game before the winter holidays start.

In the footage above, after being abandoned by a guy driving a Humvee, Wong and his teammates decide to use one of the small bulldozers in the Back to Karkand’s Wake Island map and charge into the enemy base.
