DICE has confirmed that it would release the Matches feature for Battlefield 3 later today, July 10, at 1 PM UTC.

Battlefield 3 came out last year and, since then, developer DICE has been hard at work on new features and expansions for the shooter.

The latest feature to appear for the game is the Matches one, which was revealed to fans of the series last week.

Now, the studio has confirmed that it is releasing it later today, on July 10, at around 1 PM UTC.

In case you forgot, Matches will allow those who rent multiplayer servers to create their own competitions by customizing all sorts of rules in terms of gameplay right from the Battlelog online service.

This should result in a variety of interesting encounters, according to DICE, so let’s hope its release will go off without a hitch.
