The people at IndustryGamers have independently confirmed that Battlefield 3: Afterchock is on its way to the iOS (not exactly clear if all iOS platforms will be supported), and they say it looks promising after getting a glimpse of the pre-alpha version for iPad 2.EA Mobile labeled the pre-alpha version of Battlefield 3 as an early-development for the iPad 2 tablet computer, but
according to those lucky enough to test it, Aftershock looks “at least equivalent to the Wii" from a graphical standpoint.
The controls are said to be very responsive even in this early version of the game, and there will be single and multiplayer action, though it isn’t certain just how many players will be able to join in on the fun.
The title is expected to ship sometime next year with some degree of cross-platform compatibility.
