The Behemoth, the studio behind indie sensation Castle Crashers, has released a brand new video for its upcoming BattleBlock Theater, which shows off the cooperative aspect of the platformer and how much mischief players can enact one upon another.

BattleBlock Theater has been in development for quite some time, with the small team at The Behemoth trying to polish the new game before its release, still scheduled to happen this year.

After a brief period of media blackout, the studio has now published a special video that shows off the cooperative mode of the title, in which two players can take on levels designed with co-op in mind, that require careful button presses, collaboration and teamwork.

As you can imagine, sometimes things don't go according to plan, so you'll often see characters thrown into spike pits, have grenades tossed at them or pushed into enemies.
