The development team at KING Art Games announces the successful end to its Kickstarter campaign for its Battle Worlds: Kronos, a game that seeks to take classic turn-based strategy mechanics and bring them to the modern age.

The second stretch goal means that players will be able to play the game on tablets and on the Ouya console and that two more languages will be supported on launch.

The team cites Battle Isle or Advance Wars as the main inspiration for Battle Worlds: Kronos.

After the successful completion of Kickstarter funding, KING Art Games states, “There are plenty of imaginable reasons why our hopes might not come true. But there is one thing, that won’t be the reason: A bad Battle Worlds: Kronos.”

Battle Worlds: Kronos will introduce two campaigns, which will last for about 30 hours, and both head to head and asynchronous multiplayer.
