Since the rather short reveal done earlier in the year, we have not heard anything about Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, the videogame featuring Dark Knight, which is under development at Rocksteady and will be published by Warner Bros. Entertainment. But now, two voice actors have revealed that the game will allow players to face Mister Freeze and Talia al Ghul.

On a podcast called Geekcastradio, Maurice LaMarche, who is best known for appearing in Futurama, stated that “I'm about to go in and do Mr. Freeze for Arkham Asylum 2 ... He's out for blood right now because, err... I can't tell you the situation, but he's actually somewhat a sympathetic character within the framework of the game.”

Meanwhile, Stana Katik, who is now appearing in Castle, a series on ABC, posted on her Twitter feed: “Just recorded a character voice on the next Batman video game. Never did that before. Helpful hint: plenty of water and pineapple slices,” adding, “For those who were asking: I’m voicing Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra al Ghul (played by Liam Neeson in ‘Batman Begins’).” Rocksteady and Warner Bros. were probably not ready to talk about the character as the Twitter posts are now gone.

The initial trailer shows The Joker and Harley Quinn, which probably means the couple will again have a role to play in battling Batman, and Two Face has also been confirmed as appearing in Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, although it's not clear whether he will be an antagonist. Initial reports are also saying that the sequel will be darker than the game launched in 2009, matching the tone of the latest movie featuring Batman. The game will no longer be contained to Arkham, although the title suggests it, as the trailer shows the entire city of Gotham descending into superpowered chaos.
