Battle Arena Toshinden 2 Codes and Secrets (PSX)

Battle Arena Toshinden 2 for the PlayStation is the sequel to Battle Arena Toshinden. As with its prequel it is a weapons-based 3D fighting game. Though the core gameplay remains unchanged the game adds a simple combo system: Light Attack, Hard Attack, Special move. Though several characters have a couple of unqiue combo's that break this rule. The 3D movement has also been altered to better balance it in battle.

The Sega Saturn port by Takara is named Toh Shin Den U.R.A. and is the follow-up of Toh Shin Den S (ported by Sega). Another version of the PlayStation game was released in arcades by Capcom with altered music. After the Himitsu Kesha discovered that Gaia organized a Toshinden tournament behind their backs in order to start a rebellion, he was branded a traitor. Hence a new tournament is organized to lure him to his doom. Meanwhile one of Gaia's former co-workers put's the next stage of their plan into action. (Wikipedia)

Boss Code 1: Play as Master and Uranus
When the title screen options fly across the screen press R1, L2, X, L1, R2, Circle. When selecting these two hidden bosses, hold the select button on the random character screen to slow it down and find them. Play as Master and Uranus

Boss Code 2: Play as Sho and Vermillion
At the title screen while the words are flying across press Circle, R2, L1, X, L2, R1. You can select them in the random box by pressing Select to slow it down. Play as Sho and Vermillion

Press Up, Down, Up, Down, Up and Triangle at the title screen - Final Boss Warp

Easter Eggs

Listen To A Song
Put the game inside the Playstation but leave the cover open so you will be brought to the memory card menu. Go to the music player and you may listen to all the songs from the stages.

Secrets

Alternate Way to Unlock Master and Uranus
As soon as the battle between your character and Master is done, hold down the select button throughout the credits until you are brought back to the main menu. The select cursor will be a different color and you will be able to select Master and Uranus. This is easier than inputing the code while the text is flying across the screen.
