BatteryCare is more than just battery-monitoring software for your laptop because it offers additional information about other system components besides the level of the juice powering the device. It can also read temperatures for HDD and the processor.

The change log for the new release, 0.9.10, is quite poor in entries, being only three lines large. However, the developer introduces a new feature that offers audio notifications. In order to enable them you check the “Notifications” section in the configuration panel (Settings).

The developer also announces that the Intel CPU Tjmax values (processor’s maximum core temperatures) file has been updated.

Repairs are also part of this revision, but the developer offers no specific information, labeling them as being minor.

You can download BatteryCare from this page; a portable version is also available for download.
