For Chris Nolan fans, it might be a bit too early to talk about a Batman reboot when “The Dark Knight Rises” isn’t even out of theaters yet, but the reality of it all is that it will happen – and soon, according to a new report.

Batman on Film reports that Warner Bros. isn’t planning on leaving the franchise rest for too long, even though few can imagine a follow-up to Nolan’s near-perfect trilogy.

Even so, the rebooted Batman character will make a first appearance in the upcoming “Justice League” film and then move on to his own franchise, insiders say.

“Said reboot will come after the JL film, not before. Therefore, the new cinematic Batman will be introduced in the JL film as opposed to a solo film. This would, according to my industry ‘FOBOF,’ assure the new Batman film series will be part of a ‘DC Cinematic Universe’,” the fansite writes.

In other words, WB is doing the reverse of what Marvel did for “The Avengers.” And, yes, this won’t happen for years to come but it might still feel a bit rushed to some.

So, tell us: are you ready to see a new take on Batman or you would rather wait some more before a reboot?
