New evidence shows the degree of planning involved in the deadly shooting at the Aurora theater in Colorado last year.

Testimony given this week by FBI agent Leslie Kopper shows that investigators have come across more incriminating evidence in Holmes' apartment than initially made public.

They recovered a Batman mask and a marked calendar among his belongings. He had placed a specific symbol on the day of the attack. According to a report by the AP, police also came across a violent drawing at the house.

Holmes has pleaded guilty by means of insanity in the horrific attack. Twelve people were killed and about 70 more when injured when he opened fire during a nighttime screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" Batman movie, in July 2012.
