14 DAY TRIAL // Mark Pacini might be best known for leading the development of the Metroid Prime series, but he is currently working on Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, which he believes will capture some of the magic of the old series.
The developer is quoted by Gamespot as saying that, “In my gut I feel like, yeah, it’s going to be cool. I’m excited for it. But at the same time, I hope we don’t disappoint people and I hope that they like it. We’re trying our hardest.”
Blackgate is a companion title that will be launched on the Nintendo 3DS and the PlayStation Vita.
It will offer a complementary experience to the core Batman: Arkham Origins title that will be delivered on the PC and on home consoles.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will include a number of Super Metroid mechanics.
