Video game developer Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros., in collaboration with retail chain GameStop, are ready to deliver another trailer for the Red Hood Story Pack content that will be part of Batman: Arkham Knight, allowing gamers to see the character in action.

There are about 30 seconds of actual gameplay in the footage, showing Red Hood taking out a group of enemies using his superior athleticism, classic hand-to-hand combat moves, and weapon fire.

Gamers who are interested in what they see will have to pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight from GameStop as soon as possible to get access to the Red Hood when the game launches.

The same content will probably be offered to the rest of the community a while after the title arrives, but no details have been offered so far in this regard.

The Red Hood will be introduced in its Jason Todd incarnation, and as the name implies, he will get a narrative that is intertwined with that of Batman himself.

In the comics, the character is violent and very capable when he uses weaponry, able to deal massive damage to both supervillains and superheroes who oppose him and his twisted sense of justice.

He stands in stark contrast to Batman, who takes his enemies out through non-lethal means and is more restrained in his approach.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the end of the current video game-based storyline

The new video game is the last one in the franchise that Rocksteady will work on, and it also represents the end of the storyline that Warner Bros. has been telling in the past four titles.

The two companies have worked with DC Comics to create a special new character, the Arkham Knight, who has both the intelligence, the resources and the weaponry to actually pose problems for Batman, especially when he also has other problems to deal with in Gotham.

The Batmobile is the major new addition, designed to allow players to quickly move across the city while also giving the character new options when it comes to both combat and puzzles.

There are also new gadgets to use in order to stop enemies, and those who get the Season Pass will get an entirely separate story campaign that's focused on Batgirl.

Batman: Arkham Knight is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 23.
