Gamers can get special toys based on the in-game Batmobile

The development team at Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. announce that they are planning to launch the much awaited Batman: Arkham Knight on June 2 of next year and that there are two Collector's Editions that fans of the series will be able to get via pre-order.

The title will be offered on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PC, with the entire experience designed to take advantage of the extra computing power offered by these platforms.

Limited Editions for long-time fans

The Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition will include the following items:

- Custom Art Book – has 80 pages of full color art which shows off the concepts on which the world and the characters of Batman: Arkham Knight were created; - Limited Edition SteelBook – uniquely designed to reflect the core elements of the game; - Comic Book – a limited edition DC Comics Batman: Arkham Knight #0 book with value for fans; - Exclusive Character Skin Pack – skins based on the DC Comics – The New 52 series; - Batman Memorial Statue – a statue designed to show off Gotham’s Protector, the Dark Knight.

The Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition is set to sell for 99.99 dollars or Euro on home consoles and for 85.99 dollars or Euro on the PC.   The two companies are also delivering the Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition, which is designed to offer fans access to:

- Transforming Batmobile Statue – a fully transformable Batmobile statue created by TriForce, designed to show off the new vehicle that gamers can use in the game; - Custom Art Book; - Limited Edition SteelBook; - Comic Book; - Exclusive Character Skin Pack.

The suggested price for the Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition is 189.99 dollars or Euro and can only be bought for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The new video game created by Rocksteady is designed to bring players back to Gotham for one last time as the Dark Knight seeks to battle one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced, the Arkham Knight, a character that was specially designed for the title.

The development team has promised that the classic mechanics of the series will be included and that the addition of the Batmobile, with its two modes of operation, will make it easier to navigate the game world and to battle a wide range of enemies in new and interesting ways.
