14 DAY TRIAL // Batman: Arkham Knight has just received a fresh gameplay video called Gotham Is Mine, which not only shows some never-before-seen footage of the upcoming action-adventure game but also highlights some of the major villains that will try to stop the Dark Knight, from Scarecrow to Two-Face, Riddler, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and, of course, the mysterious Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight is one of the most anticipated games of the year and developer Rocksteady has certainly taken its time to perfect the latest and greatest adventure of the Caped Crusader, while hyping up major features like the Batmobile, not to mention plot lines relating to the mystery Arkham Knight character.
New video shows gameplay, villains, and more
After having gone on a media blackout in recent months, developer Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. have just rolled out a fresh gameplay video from Arkham Knight, depicting never-before-seen footage from the title, while detailing somewhat the core conflict between Batman and Scarecrow.
As you can see in the footage below, Scarecrow has deployed a nerve gas throughout Gotham, forcing civilians off the streets while allowing the many different villains and their henchmen to roam freely throughout the city.
Many villains await Batman
The video goes through some of the most iconic rivals of the Caped Crusader, starting with the aforementioned Scarecrow and continuing with Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and others.
The new character envisioned by Rocksteady for the game and for the Batman universe, the Arkham Knight, is also portrayed but rather briefly and without any new information. Even so, you can bet that plenty of fresh details are going to be shared about the villain in the future, as we get closer to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight on June 2 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.
