14 DAY TRIAL // After announcing the special Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year edition yesterday, Rocksteady now posted some more details about the game’s last piece of DLC, called Harley Quinn’s Revenge.
Batman: Arkham City delivered a sprawling experience with an open world filled with all sorts of stories and characters.
While the game included lots of things to do, Rocksteady added even more experiences through downloadable content, ranging from new costumes for Batman or Robin, to new challenge rooms featuring Nightwing.
Now, the last bit of DLC for the game has been revealed, in the form of Harley Quinn’s Revenge, which will come out on the PS3 on May 29, and on the Xbox 360, on May 30.
We already knew some details about the add-on, but some fresh info has just appeared from Rocksteady, including an official description, so check it out below.
“The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilize each of the characters' unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley's vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.”
Bear in mind that some spoilers will follow so, if you’ve yet to finish Batman: Arkham City, read no more.
As you can see, Joker’s death has affected Harley Quinn, who has now become a brunette, as part of her mourning. She also enlisted an array of new thugs to exact her revenge upon Batman, who took down the infamous villain at the end of the game’s story.
It’s also great to hear that Robin will be playable in the story, as players could only experience him during Challenge Rooms, which were separate from the single-player campaign.
