Nokia just expanded its line of Bluetooth headsets with the release of the BH-101 model, one of the best displays of a combination between standard design and performances. It should be great for helping drivers keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road while still carrying on mobile phone conversations, but nothing more.

The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-101 has just been unveiled at the SEMA show as an affordable and simple solution for wireless communication. The device looks pretty average and will impress nobody through its design, while the performances will be just the same as any other similar device can bring.

From the wide range of Bluetooth headsets that stand out and look more like personal accessories than useful devices, the BH-101 seems to be among the most average. It's plain black and features a basic design with no expectations of being impressive.

The great advantage about Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-101 is that the device is compatible with a wide range of devices. Moreover, the producer claims it to be comfortable and durable to respond to the user's needs in a reliable manner for a long period of time.

There is also an efficient power management that allows the user to talk up to eight hours, or put the headset aside on standby mode for up to 180 hours. Although nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to design, the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-101 is pretty compact and should bring great conversation quality.

The device has basic call handling functions and supports Bluetooth functions up to version 2.0 with EDR and Handsfree v.1.5 and Headset v.1.1. The Nokia Headset BH-101 will be out on the market in time for the holidays for the estimated price of 30 EUR/40 USD, without taxes.
