She is probably best known for her outlandish behavior on the reality show Baseball Wives and for her now defunct marriage to ex-pitcher Kris Benson, but Anna Benson will now be remembered for breaking into Kris’ house fully armed as well.

TMZ reports that Benson was arrested in Georgia after arriving at her ex’s house. Hours before, a judge had ordered that she vacate the marital home, which clearly did not suit her.

The celebrity publication cites police sources as saying that Benson, who was out to cause some serious damage, broke into Kris’ house after previously arming herself with a gun, a metal baton, and strapping herself into a bulletproof vest.

She threatened Kris with both weapons and then asked for money. He told her he would give it to her, no matter the amount, but slipped out of the house and called the police.

“According to law enforcement, Kris – who filed for divorce last year – reported that Anna showed up in a rage last night after being forced by the court to vacate their marital home. Kris says Anna arrived and immediately whipped out an ‘expandable metal baton,’ threatening to hit him,” TMZ reports.

“Kris told police Anna then pulled out a handgun and demanded money. She must have been expecting Kris to pull a gun on her too... because she was allegedly wearing a bulletproof vest at the time of the alleged assault,” adds the same media outlet.

Police immediately arrived on the scene, immobilized, and arrested Benson, and took her to the station to have her booked.

She was charged with 4 counts, “2 counts of felony aggravated assault with a weapon, 1 count of criminal trespass, and 1 count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime,” the same media outlet writes.

At the time word of the arrest reached the press, she was still in custody.
