Not many know of Barron Hilton, the younger brother of Paris and Nicky Hilton. Those who do are only familiar with his much-mediated arrest from February 2008, or with his long history of drug and alcohol use and wild parties. Soon enough, PageSix informs, the world will also know Barron as a recording artist, as he’s currently preparing to make his debut in the music industry.

Speaking directly with the aforementioned media outlet, the 19-year-old socialite, celebutante and heir to the Hilton fortune announced that he would soon make his debut on the music scene as well. The album is clearly not a way for him to become rich, since he already is, but a means of showing the world that there is more to the Hiltons than just the partying and the scandals.

“I want to be an international singer-songwriter. I’m sick of all the Hilton stuff, where all anyone cared about was whether I was doing coke in the bathroom or how many [expletive] I was sleeping with. I’m done with partying and traveling. It’s time to get this [expletive] started.” Barron says for the publication. On a side note, sister Paris Hilton spoke in approximately similar terms about her aspirations of becoming a singer, before she released her self-titled album “Paris” in 2006 – and not much good came of them.

In order to show the world that he is more than just a Hilton, Barron will also be releasing his own reality show, which will detail his road to fame and getting international recognition. However, the future singer underlines, even his TV series will be different from what’s currently on TV (“The Hills,” more specifically) in that there will be no re-shoots and no double takes. In other words, Barron shares, his reality show will be real.

“It’s gonna be like ‘The Hills,’ but real. A lot of that stuff is pre-setup or re-setup. This is gonna show the meetings, the production side, the recording side... I just want people to say, ‘Wow, this song really moved me, or made me cry.’” Barron further explains for PageSix. Unfortunately, the aspiring singer has not mentioned any release date or estimated timeframe for his debut album, but, once word of this gets out, rest assured you’ll find out about it here.
