TV icon brings 4 assistants to talk her through the plot, is a complete nuisance

Barbara Walters was one of the lucky few to get an invite for an advanced screening of “Hunger Games: Catching Fire” (the rest of us have to wait until November 22 to see it), but she hardly got anything from the experience.

If anything, by being “rude and entitled,” she managed to ruin the experience for everyone sitting close to her, Jezebel reports. Admittedly, she had 4 assistants with her and she constantly – and loudly – required them to talk her through the plot.

She’d constantly ask “who’s that” and “what’s happening,” speaking so loudly that she’d almost drown out the audio from the film, the report alleges. I wouldn’t want to have been there, sitting right next to her.

“She couldn’t understand any of the plot twists and would ask ‘What’s going on?’ every five seconds. It was crazy. Even when characters reappeared on screen after having shown up 20 minutes earlier, she’d be like, ‘Who’s that?’,” an insider says for the e-zine.

As noted above, the second installment in “The Hunger Games” franchise comes out in theaters in most territories a week from now. Above is the final trailer – you know, for those of us who don’t get tickets to advanced screenings like Barbara, to keep us going until the movie comes out.
